About us


For those that do not know me, I am JD… Chef JD 40+ years of developing my love in the Culinary Arts Enhanced culinary ability through the school of; Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Performed as; Sous Chef, Saucier, Garde & Personal Chef, in some of the finest Establishments, Eateries & celebrity homes in New York City and Cape Cod. In addition, my main love of the business, in a 4 Star Establishment & New York Style Deli, (in addition to teaching cooking classes), in CT. In 2012 I moved to the beautiful Smoky Mountains in Sevier County, to continue the wonderful endeavors in the ever changing Culinary Arts At this time I am writing a monthly article for free local Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and now reaching Sevierville & Kodak areas, “Smoky Mountains Around Town” newspaper, http://www.smokymountainsaroundtown.com . Wherein, I am on the back page as, “Chef JDs Corner”, (which I get quite a few feed-backs from). In my write-ups, I give out inquired information on recipes, locations on where to get ingredients, advice and warnings on other subject matters (like our bears), and of course I post recipes. The recipes, that I will be adding to constantly, do have a far range, from simple to more complex. Either way, I try to make it simple as possible for you, without hiring me as your personal Chef ;o)
